The clean, simple lines of American Visalia design give this bed charm and style. Enduring quality and simple elegance are the hallmarks of this contemporary American style.
Features and Benefits
- The Visalia Bed has a simple yet contemporary design that is an attractive addition to your bedroom furniture collection.
- Bed comes with a sturdy platform of closely spaced fir slats attached with jute webbing and bolstered by a center beam (in all except twin beds).
- The head and footboards come assembled with mortise and tenon joints throughout.
- The standard platform bed (shown in picture on right) supports futon, foam or innerspring mattress.
- The standard platform version is shown in small picture on the right, with a nine-inch mattress.
- To highlight the natural beauty of this distinctive hardwood, the manufacturer hand rubs each piece with their own finish, which includes tung oil and pure beeswax.
- For those with chemical sensitivities, the hardwood can be left unfinished in its natural state.
- Box Spring Option:
- The top large bed image shown above contains a 19-inch box spring/mattress set (not included and shown for illustrative purposes only)
- Four slats support the box spring and mattress.
- Underbed Drawers:
- These drawers come fully assembled with sliding dovetail joints.
- These free standing drawers roll easily on straight-line casters and can also be placed under the footboard of the bed.
